When did you start working in the travel industry?

Having a passion for travel I started working in the travel industry in 1999. I started off working at the airport as a check-in agent, then followed on to become worldwide cabin crew for 16 years. This gave me the opportunity to travel the world and see some amazing destinations, and experience many cultures. Naturally I became an explorer experiencing new adventures, making travel blogs and researching places along the way.

What is your favourite thing about your job?

I love meeting new people and different nationalities, learning and researching new places and arranging exciting adventures.

Where would you like to visit next?

I would love to go to Costa Rica and see the wonderful birds, beaches and rainforests, maybe some snorkelling, and visit Peru and do the Inca Trial. It sounds it would be a beautiful relaxing natural environment.

What is your dream holiday destination?

I have always wanted to go to New Zealand. People have said it is such a beautiful country to visit.

What has been your favourite holiday, which you have booked for a customer, that you would love to take yourself?

The best holiday I booked was for a couple who stayed at a beautiful ranch a couple of hours away from Mexico City. They also did an early morning breath-taking hot air balloon ride over Teotihuacan.

What are the first things in your case?

A good book. New clothes. Snorkelling mask.

My favourite travel memory

I love the Far East, Japan being my favourite so far. The food is amazing. It is great to see the Old Temples and the new technology. If you are lucky to see the Cherry Blossom (Sakura) this is a must.
