United Arab Emirates

The U.A.E, which is short for the United Arab Emirates, is often regarded as an oasis of blissful luxury in the Middle East. It is a federation of seven individual emirates, each of which can offer a unique range of culture and history. Our range of U.A.E tours can take intrepid explorers on a journey of fascinating landmarks, golden beaches and some of the most impressive modern architecture in the world.

Abu Dhabi is the capital and is known for its extensive shopping malls, with each offering a wide range of products from around the world. Whilst Abu Dhabi may be a paradise of retail therapy, those seeking to soak up the sun will not be disappointed with the vast number of gorgeous beaches available.

Dubai is perhaps the most recognisable of the Emirates and is highly regarded for its range of ultra-luxury hotels and towering skyscrapers. The most iconic of these is the Burj Al Khalifa, which stands at 828 metres, making it the tallest building in the world.

One of the lesser-known Emirates is Umm Al Quwain, where you can witness the unusual event of camel racing at the Al-Labsa track. You can also visit the dhow building yard, where skilled craftsmen continue to assemble traditional boats to this day.

Various cities within the Emirates have also become common ports that are visited on Gulf cruises. Dubai and Abu Dhabi are both popular with some of the best ships in the world.
