Day 1
Arrive Buenos Aires (Argentina)
On arrival in the Argentinian capital today, you’ll be met and transferred to your hotel. After settling in, enjoy some time at leisure and perhaps step out to explore this vibrant city.
Day 2
Buenos Aires, Ushuaia, Embark Antarctica Cruise
This morning, transfer to the airport. Board your included flight to Ushuaia, the capital of Tierra del Fuego regarded by many as the world’s most southerly city. On arrival you’ll be transferred to your luxury expedition ship, Le Boréal. Greeted by your knowledgeable Expedition Leader and a team of expert naturalist guides with a contagious passion for the White Continent, the atmosphere aboard is one of excitement. Enjoy some time to settle into your luxurious stateroom and explore the ship’s amenities before heading to the Captain’s Welcome Dinner where you’ll get an insight into what to expect on the action-filled days to come. Afterwards, head to the viewing deck to admire the mountainous scenery of South America’s most southerly tip on an early evening cruise down the Beagle Channel in the Tierra del Fuego Archipelago. Your wildlife spotting begins here as you pass colonies of Magellanic penguin, Rock Cormorants and sea lions.
Day 3
Drake Passage
Over the course of the next two days, you’ll cross the Drake Passage, connecting the Atlantic and Pacific oceans between Cape Horn and the South Shetland Islands. During this time, learn more about the adventures ahead as you participate in a range of informative, interactive and entertaining presentations on the wildlife, history and geology of Antarctica.

Enjoy your second day cruising through the Drake Passage to Antarctica.
Day 5
Antarctic Peninsula
On arrival in Antarctica, your itinerary becomes flexible in order to maximise your discovery of this enchanting world of ice and water. Utilising the vast knowledge of your experienced naturalist guides and Expedition Leader, your Captain will charter a course based on the most exciting sightseeing opportunities available and the most favourable ice and weather conditions. For the next five days you’ll enjoy thrilling morning and afternoon Zodiac rides with your experienced Expedition Team who will get you up close to the towering glaciers. Experience some of the most unique wildlife viewing in the world as you’re taken to visit gentoo, chinstrap and Adélie penguin rookeries. You’re also likely to encounter Weddell, crabeater, leopard and Antarctic fur seals. These chilly waters are often frequented by hunting orca and the breaching forms of humpback and minke whales, so be sure to keep an eye out. Although landing sites will vary depending on conditions, the route will feature the most scenic bays and channels, including the stunning Lemeire Channel and Neko Bay, where icebergs loom in a shade of captivating blue. Head to the shores of Deception Island, an active volcano surrounded by distinctive black sand. Once an old whaling station, you will see giant barrels and bleached white whale bones scattered along the deserted beaches as well as impressive elephant seals lounging along the shore. You may get the chance to stop at Port Lockroy, an active scientific base studying gentoo penguins. Here, you can take the chance to send a postcard with a rare Antarctic stamp.

Learn more about this amazing part of the world during lectures and on board presentations as you continue on your luxury cruise.
Day 7
Antarctic Peninsula
Continue to experience some of the most unique wildlife viewing opportunities.
Day 8
Antarctic Peninsula
Cruise the Antarctica Peninsula.
Day 9
Antarctic Peninsula
Bid farewell to Antarctica and return across the Drake Passage.
Day 10
Drake Passage
The adventure continues as you bid farewell to the beautiful waters surrounding the Antarctic Peninsula and return across the Drake Passage.
Day 11
Drake Passage
Travel the Drake Passage towards the bustling Argentinian city of Ushuaia, Along the way, be sure to keep a keen eye out for the wildlife that may be encountered en route.
Day 12
Disembark Ship, Ushuaia, Fly to Buenos Aires
Today you’ll disembark your ship in Ushuaia and transfer to the airport where you will board your included flight to Buenos Aires. On arrival back in Argentina’s capital, guests transfer to the city and check into your hotel before enjoying the rest of the day at leisure.
Day 13
Depart Buenos Aires
After breakfast, your journey draws to an end as you are transferred to Buenos Aires airport for your onward flight.
