Day 1
Regional departures

Regional departure by coach, then to Holyhead for the ferry to Ireland. Head to our overnight hotel in Cavan/Kells.

Day 2
Donegal Town

Head across Ireland to Donegal Town. This bustling town is great for a leisurely stroll around The Diamond Market Square. We continue to our hotel in Bundoran for three nights.

Day 3
Glenveagh National Park

Join our full-day, optional excursion of Glenveagh National Park passing Blue Stack Mountains. You will witness stunning views across rugged mountains and crystal clear blue lakes. We will also visit the interesting Glenveagh Visitor Centre

Day 4
Killybegs & Glencolumbkille

This morning, see glorious scenery on our included coastline drive excursion. We head first to picturesque Killybegs, a bustling harbour town. Later, see Slieve League, the highest cliffs in Europe. Although less famous than the Cliffs of Moher in County Clare, Slieve League's cliffs reach almost three times higher. Set in the rugged landscape on the west coast of Donegal is Glencolumbkille, a Gaeltacht village famous for its wealth of tradition and Gaelic culture.

Day 5

We leave Donegal and make a brief stop in beautiful Mullaghmore in County Sligo. The name Mullaghmore will forever be associated with Lord Mountbatten, who was killed here in 1979. We continue to Dublin where you can join our optional sightseeing tour which, will give you a taste of this fascinating city. The tour will show you the inner city of Dublin, which if left on your own would take a week! You will see both the north and south part of the capital. The tour is a panoramic one, seeing beautiful buildings of significance like Trinity College, St Patrick’s Cathedral, The National Art Gallery and the Four Courts. Dublin is a beautiful Georgian city and highlights will be the magnificence of Georgian Dublin with visits to some of the superb squares. Dublin is also home to the Guinness Storehouse should you wish to pay homage to Dublin’s most famous drink and see a panorama of Dublin from its glassed Gravity Bar. We stay overnight in the Dublin area.

Return home

To Holyhead, then home.
